Back To The Future!

Not a Micahel J. Fox, Doc or clock tower in sight, though we are focused on the future with trend spotting and we’re delighted to see the new focus on the back of wedding dresses.  Of course, it’s a part of the dress that the wedding party is going to be looking at for a significant part of any ceremony.  A back feature can add high drama to any wedding ensemble so here’s a few to consider from our wonderful gallery of beautiful wedding dresses...

Dress made out of Karma lace reverse
Try an illusion back with lace feature shown here on a dress using Karma lace created by Annie Boughen.
Belinda Lace
Here’s another fabulous example using Ivory Corded Lace Belinda.
Kate Owen wedding
Perhaps a deep cut back with a crystal trim like the one shown here using Solario Crystal Trim and made by Kate Owen.
Bridal Ruth Lace
Alternatively a key hole back can be very dramatic, especially if paired with lace detail such as in this lace dress by Atarah Bespoke using Ruth Ivory Corded Bridal Lace.
Cara Lace
Alternatively, let the lace do the talking … look at these fabulous examples sent in by talented dress makers. Cara Beaded Lace is used to great effect by Josefine Ingversen in this image...
Dress made using Aava Lace
...and Heidi Tuisku has used Ava Beaded Lace to create this stunning lace.
Naomi Ivory Lace Veil
Finally, My Little Wedding Shop created this delightful back design using Ivory Guipure Lace Courtney.
