A Little Mediterranean Heat and Spice..

Italy has got a pretty good reputation when it comes to the finest pleasures of life. A significant proportion of the world’s best food, drinks, beaches, art, culture and furniture can be found in the country and of course it is home to many haute couture fashion designers who have HQs in major cities like Milan and Rome…

These designers and fashion houses are at the cutting-edge of fashion; the collections they create and display will be influential; across the globe and our lucky sourcing team get front-row seats at the major bridal shows. They bring back with them a choice collection of the very best lace and other fabrics on offer that season and we make them available to our customers the moment they reach us.

That moment has arrived once again and we are delighted to launch three brand-new designs, all of which are now in stock and ready for you to sample and purchase. Allow us to introduce, direct from Italy, Anita, Hadley and Destiny…

Anita Ivory Embroidered Lace

Excellence is woven into the very fabric of this design, which uses a fine, dotted ivory tulle as its base. Onto this are embroidered patterned beads which recur in bands, creating another, larger pattern that is quite unique. Added to this is a touch of gently-glistening filigree that really makes the fabric complete and we see great potential for Anita lace in the hands of particularly creative and visionary dress designers.

Hadley Ivory Embroidered Lace

Fun, flirty and feel-good fabulous, Hadley lace is an irrepressible breath of fresh air to our collection. Embroidered ivory discs create spangle, sparkle and shimmer that demands the centre of attention, just right for the bride who wants all eyes on her!

Destiny Ivory Embroidered Lace

Light, floaty and will a delightfully soft handle, Destiny lace features an abstract floral design that is totally en vogue on the catwalks right now. Petals and flowers are embroidered with extra layers using different stitch techniques, a process that creates such visual excitement that no further embellishment is needed.

Please enjoy browsing through our latest finds from Italy and take your time while you decide which one you find the most beautiful. Call our team if you can’t choose; they will be more than happy to share with you the finer points of each and help you come to a decision!

Lace for the Autumn Season

The autumn season is always a particularly interesting time when it comes to bridal fabric design and this one is no exception. We are currently seeing lots of lace inspired by the falling leaves and here are some of our favourites:

Bridget Ivory Hand Beaded Lace

With a riot of embroidered leaves, Bridget is a gorgeous design that is an immediate eye catcher. The edge of the lace is shaped to the contours of the pattern, delivering a unique look that is highlighted with a number of embellishments. These include translucent sequins, bugle beads and delicately-placed seed pearls.

Journey Embroidered Ivory Lace

An ivory tulle background makes the perfect base for the embroidered leaves, which are created using a wide variety of stitching techniques to add interest and excitement to the fabric. These effects are highlighted using beads and pearls, which are placed cleverly to obtain the best effect.

Cassandra Embroidered Ivory Lace

Incredibly striking, this lace design features a selection of delicately embroidered leaves which swirl across the fabric, interlocking with one another. Both edges match one another to create a lace that is pure luxury and class.

Mila Ivory Corded Chantilly Lace

Leaves and flowers are densely woven together to create Mila lace. There is huge contrast between the shaded and open areas and ivory cord is used to embellish the leaves, delivering a texture that has to be seen and felt to be believed.

Edna Ivory Embroidered Lace

This fabric is emblazoned with flames of flowers and leaves, which rise daringly to almost the full height of the lace. These designs are embroidered with a sophisticated satin stitch and, to make sure the whole thing sparkles magically, sequins are used for embellishment.

We absolutely adore these autumn-inspired lace designs and we are sure you will too. There are pictures and videos on the product pages to help you get a sense of how beautiful they are and you can always take advantage of our free sample service if you wish to examine them more closely.

Meet Porscha and Kiri

One of the most popular sections on the Bridal Fabrics website offers exclusive access to the newest lace designs we have in stock, all of which are sourced from the finest fashion houses in the trendiest cities. Our recent sourcing trip to Paris was highly successful and we have several gorgeous new designs, which will appear on the website during the coming weeks. Fancy a sneaky peek?

Of course you do. Courtesy of our always amazing bridal experts, who have chosen some equally amazing new designs, we bring you Porscha and Kiri. Both designs are going to give you a delightful take-my-breath-away shock so make sure you’re sitting down!

Ivory Lace - PorshaPorscha Ivory Lace

Pure delight, this glorious and ultra feminine lace creates an almost cloudlike effect, buoyant with exuberant excitement. The material is incredibly light, a fact which belies its luxurious drape.

Embellishing this excellent example of bridal lace is one of the latest looks; large 3d flowers attached to the fabric in a similar way to the still-popular feather lace designs. The light yet strong fabric holds the flowers firmly in place, giving the lace a natural, organic look that is currently all over the haute couture catwalks of the world.

Ivory Lace - KiriKiri Ivory lace

A taste for the luxurious is always in evidence in bridal fashion and Kiri is a fine example. The lace is formed in a geometric mesh design, which creates an inviting and evocative shape to the body, its firm lines hypnotically repeating.

A rich selection of floral embellishments adds a charming, almost vintage style feel to this beautiful backing. The designers has carefully interwoven floral motifs throughout the body of the lace, which harmonise with the clean, futuristic lines of the lace.

These laces are so new that we can only offer them for pre-order and they will not be available until next year. You can grab yourself a small free sample or get a premium sample for a small charge: while stocks last!

If you want a sample of this exclusive lace then check out the product pages today and don’t delay.
