This is a pale ivory taffeta base that has been extravagantly embroidered with overlapping scallops of soft ivory ribbon like fabrics.
At the edge of each scallop is a wider area of fabric measuring 4 cm (1.5") deep that give the pattern wonderful definition.
The fabric measures 110 cm (43.3") wide.
