Rosemary sent us a photo, now in our Online Gallery, showing her Father and new Stepmum David and Frances Horne tying the knot in Hastings. The happy couple are both into recycling and, aptly, Frances’s bridal dress featured an array of surplus edging and lace appliqués from a previous wedding dress. A simple gored skirt and lace-up back kept the dress classy, elegant and refined while a floor-length silk layer and full train added a touch of luxurious extravagance.
Carnival Tulle and Olivia Lace were used in the creation of this gorgeous bridal dress.
Carnival Tulle is designed and manufactured in Italy, the heart of haute couture. Soft-knitted to give a gorgeously-tactile handle, this wedding fabric is incredibly versatile and can be used as an overlay or to form a dramatic bell-shaped petticoat. A full palette of 24 colours is available, featuring everything from stylish and classic White, Champagne and Ivory to vibrant and contemporary Cherry, Orchid and Jade.
Olivia, a beaded laser lace, is one of our most popular bridal fabrics and, available in white or ivory and with matching lace appliqués and trims, features heaving beading that gave Frances’s dress an arresting, hypnotising movement as she moved. The fine tulle ground of this lace is shot through with floral spray motifs comprising satin flowers expertly stitched with fine silver filigree thread and the border, identically double-scalloped, is finished with an exquisite embroidered edge and glittering sequins.
We would like to thank Rosemary for sending the email and photo - everyone at Platinum bridal Fabrics loves the dress and wishes the happy couple all the best for their future together.
