Oh Baby!

Who doesn’t delight at the news of a baby?  Well we’re all excitedly anticipating the arrival of a royal baby here at Bridal Fabrics.  The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, let’s call them Wills and Kate, are expecting their third baby… BUT, will it be a baby girl or a baby boy?  We’ve put together a selection of pretty pink, beautiful blue and non-gender assigned coloured laces (struggling with some alliteration there) in readiness for the upcoming delivery.  Like these laces? Why not order a free sample and we’ll deliver to your door in just 2 days.

We’re going to start with a light and delicate Chantilly lace used in Kate’s wedding dress, shown here in powder pink. Kate (named after guess who?) is a delightful French Lace on a relatively open tulle ground with a single scalloped edge. The motif is a floral bouquet, which features elegant Chantilly shading at its very best.  Kate is an absolutely outstanding design fit for a princess available in a range of vibrant colours and with a matching trim

Estelle is a divine pink lace with a dense pattern of flowers and leaves running throughout. Used for summer dresses and bridesmaids, babies and flower girls especially.  The cording is a slightly darker pink that highlights the lighter embroidery.

Jemima is another pretty Chantilly lace shown here in China Blue.  The body of the lace is made up of a variety of different shaped and sized flowers and leaves that form a sophisticated, fairly dense pattern. The flowers are shaded and then highlighted round the edges with a very fine cording.

We just love the bow detail in the design of the next lace.  Lovely and light, this Chantilly Lace called Lillian (shown here in China Blue) is delicately corded and is a fine choice.  The floral motifs and bow detail, along with the scalloped and fringed borders make this a delectable choice.  We offer Chantilly Lace Lillian in ivory and a range of colours also.

We’ve then chosen to feature another Chantilly Lace in Mint Green called Wendy.  We feel the colour palette really accentuates the pretty deeply scalloped border of this fine, decorative lace. Featuring delicate shading throughout to form a very feminine floral effect, there is a soft subtle silver thread that runs through the motifs in the lace.  Both borders are scalloped and match with a small fringe on both sides. The scallops are quite bold repeating on 19cms (8").

Finally, an offering of lilac lace with a sprinkling of sequin embellishment.  Ruby is an exquisite and decorative lace featuring a fan shaped design combined with floral garlands and baroque style motifs on a lightweight, soft tulle.  The detail has been embellished with clear, colourless sequins.  Both borders are scallop edged and matching one another.  Ruby has the feel of a vintage lace, and as with most of our coloured laces, is available in ivory and a range of colours.
